The 2010 series of West wetsuits are made from a limestone based neoprene which is lighter, stretchier and friendlier to the environment than petroleum based alternatives. The limestone production process is powered solely by Hydro electricity. Limestone neoprene is also shown to resist aging caused by exposure to the elements, such as direct sunlight and moisture better than petroleum based alternatives.
